Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 20) — Singer Ice Seguerra will warm up the stage for 90s icon Alanis Morissette’s upcoming concert in Manila next month, the concert producer announced on Wednesday.
Ovation Productions said that the “Pagdating ng Panahon” singer will be the front act for Morisette’s “Jagged Little Pill” tour at the SM Mall of Asia on Aug. 1 to 2.
Meanwhile, Seguerra couldn’t contain his excitement for the opportunity.
“EEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHH!!!! KINIKILIG AKOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! (I’m gushing over this!),” he said in a Facebook post.
“I grew up listening to her music! This album was my companion mula umaga hanggang gabi! (This album was my companion from morning til night)” Seguerra added, referring to Morissette’s Grammy Award-winning album “Jagged Little Pill.”
The concert tour celebrates the 28th year of the iconic album, which contains the classic hits “You Oughta Know,” “Hand in My Pocket,” and “Ironic.”
