
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 10) — F1 Academy driver Bianca Bustamante added another win under her belt as she topped the Race 3 of Round 5 in Monza, Italy on Sunday.
It was a back-to-back podium finish for the 18-year-old racer as she settled for P2 in Race 2.
Bustamante now sits at sixth place in the overall standings.
Bustamante made history as she became the first Filipino to win an F1 Academy race during Round 2 in Valencia, Spain last May.
The inaugural season of the all-female single seater race will wrap up after two more rounds. The sixth round will be held on July 29 to 30 in Le Castellet, France then the finale will take place in Austin, Texas in the US on October 20 to 22.
