Oil prices to increase by over ₱1 this week

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, June 26) — Oil companies on Monday announced a price hike of more than ₱1 per liter of diesel and kerosene this week.

In separate advisories, Seaoil, Caltex,  Flying V, Petron and Petro Gazz said the per liter cost of diesel will go up by ₱1.05 while the price of kerosene will jump by ₱1.20 per liter.

PTT, Phoenix and Unioil also said it will increase the price of diesel by ₱1.05.

Meanwhile, gasoline will cost 20 centavos more per liter, Seaoil, Caltex, Phoenix, Petron, Flying V and PTT said.

As of June 20, the Department of Energy’s oil monitoring showed that there have been per liter increases of ₱6.35 for gasoline, ₱4.05 for diesel, and ₱6.35 for kerosene since the start of 2023.
