
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, June 26) — Two more evacuees from the six-kilometer danger zone of Albay tested positive for COVID-19, a provincial health officer reported Monday.
Estela Zenit, officer-in-charge of the Albay Provincial Health Office, said the third evacuee is a nine-month-old baby who was infected by her 12-year-old relative in Gabawan Evacuation Center in Daraga, Albay.
She said the baby had coughs and colds and was brought to the Infirmary Center in Anislag with her family.
The Department of Health reported the first COVID-19 patient among Mayon evacuees on June 19.

The fourth evacuee with COVID-19 is a 51-year-old mother from San Jose National High School, Barangay San Roque, Malilipot, Albay.
Zenit said the evacuee with symptoms is in an isolation room with 23 close contacts under observation.
Meanwhile, the first evacuee who tested positive for COVID-19 has recovered, the health officer added.
More than 20,000 people have evacuated from Mayon volcano’s six-kilometer permanent danger zone.
