
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, June 10) — Fuel prices are expected to increase next week, according to Unioil Petroleum Philippines.
The oil price adjustments are forecast to be effective from June 13 to 19.
The price of diesel may rise by ₱1.30 to ₱1.50 per liter while the cost of gasoline may go up by ₱1.10 to ₱1.30 per liter.
According to the Department of Energy’s fuel price monitoring, the modification of fuel prices resulted in a year-to-date net decrease for kerosene at ₱7.735 per liter and diesel at ₱5.35 per liter.
The price of gasoline had a net increase of ₱5.50 per liter.
On June 6, oil companies implemented a per liter decrease of ₱0.60 for gasoline and kerosene while diesel dropped by ₱0.30 per liter.
