(CNN Philippines, June 5) — The Philippines added three more gold medals at the 2023 ASEAN Para Games Monday in Cambodia.
Gary Bejino ruled the men’s swimming 200m freestyle S6 while Ariel Joseph Alegarbes reigned supreme in the men’s swimming 50m butterfly S14 event.
Cendy Asusano, meanwhile, topped the women’s javelin throw F54 final.
As of Monday afternoon, Team Philippines has 11 gold medals in the multi-sport event for athletes with disabilities.
