DOE wants Congress to bar foreign ownership of NGCP

The Energy department wants to amend the Energy Power Industry Reform Act or EPIRA more than two decades since it became law.

One of the changes sought by DOE prohibit foreign ownership of the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines.
