
(CNN Philippines, May 9) — Gilas Pilipinas opened its 32nd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games campaign with a 94-49 drubbing of Malaysia Tuesday at the Morodok Techo National Stadium in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Gilas never looked back after outscoring Malaysia, 33-12, at the end of the first period.
Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser led the Philippines with 15 points while Justin Brownlee added 11 markers.
Gilas will next face Cambodia on May 11, then Singapore on May 14.
