Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, May 6) — The Philippine aquathlon mixed relay team clinched the country’s seventh gold at the 32nd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games on Saturday in Cambodia.

The group — composed of Matthew Hermosa, Kira Ellis, Erica Burgos, and Inaki Lorbes — bested six other teams in the competition held in Phnom Penh.

Indonesia placed second, while Vietnam finished third.

The fresh victory came after the Philippines secured six other SEA Games gold medals from the women’s jiu-jitsu, women’s kun bokator bamboo shield form, women’s and men’s individual obstacle races, women’s individual kata, and women’s ne-waza no gi competitions.

Earlier in the day, Andrew Kim Remolino also bagged a silver medal for the country in the elite men aquathlon event.

The 32nd SEA Games, which kicked off on May 5, will run until May 17.
