Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, May 3) — The National University Lady Bulldogs eliminated the Adamson University Lady Falcons in their Final Four meeting, 22-25, 25-22, 25-12, 25-15, Wednesday at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Bella Belen and Alyssa Solomon carried the Lady Bulldogs with 29 and 21 points, respectively.
The Lady Falcons fought valiantly throughout the contest with Kate Santiago leading Adamson with 15 markers.
After dropping the opening set, NU bounced back big time in the next set and did not look back to seal its return trip to the finals.
The defending champions Lady Bulldogs have set up a best-of-three finals affair with the top seed Lady Spikers, which will begin on May 7 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
