Venegas became the first platinum ticket holder of American Idol Season 21 last February. During his audition in Las Vegas, he performed his rendition of “New York State of Mind” by Billy Joel that earned a standing ovation from one of the judges Lionel Ritchie.
The teen singer is a former contestant of ABS-CBN’s “The Voice Teens Philippines” in 2020 but later left the competition before the knockouts due to COVID-19 travel restrictions.
