“It is personally a great honor as I have loved basketball since I was young,” SUGA said.
“As an NBA Ambassador, SUGA will engage NBA fans around the world through the remainder of the 2022-23 NBA season and beyond,” the professional basketball league of the United States said.
“The NBA will have a presence throughout SUGA’s first solo world tour, collaborating around select concerts in celebration of the release of SUGA’s debut solo album, D-DAY,” it added.
The BTS rapper previously attended a Golden State Warriors game in September 2022. He was then spotted in an NBA game in January this year.
BigHit Music, the company handling BTS, earlier announced that Suga’s single album will be released on April 7, while his solo world tour will begin on April 26.
