Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 4) — The Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) will offer free rides for veterans and a companion in commemoration of the upcoming Day of Valor, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) announced on Tuesday.
The DOTr said free rides are offered on April 5 and from April 10 to 12. MRT-3 will suspend its operations from April 6 to 9 due to its annual line maintenance during Holy Week.
“Bilang pagdiriwang ng Philippine Veterans’ Week at Araw ng Kagitingan, maghahandog ang MRT-3 ng libreng sakay para sa mga beterano,” the agency said.
