Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, March 26) — Actress Iza Calzado has finally shared the first glimpse of her daughter Deia Amihan on her social media account.
“Words can’t describe the love we’re feeling as we introduce our precious baby girl, Deia Amihan Calzado Wintle,” Calzado wrote on her Instagram post on Sunday.
In the post, Deia Amihan’s cute hands were seen wrapping her mother’s finger. Calzado said her daughter has already stolen their hearts and brought so much joy into their lives.
“We’re so grateful for the love and support from our family and friends, and can’t wait for all the adventures that lie ahead. Big love from our family to yours!” she continued.
Calzado married entrepreneur Ben Wintle in August 2018. In November last year, the couple announced that they were expecting a baby girl.
The 40-year-old celebrity took a social media hiatus to prepare for her first baby’s arrival. Deia Amihan was born on Jan. 26.
Calzado portrayed Amihan, a Sang’gre or a diwata of royal blood, in the hit 2005 TV series “Encantadia.” Her maternity shoot was also inspired by the fictional character.
