Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, March 24) — Pageant fans can expect a star-studded Miss Universe Philippines coronation night this year — with one K-pop idol set to grace the local stage.
Organizers on Friday announced that South Korean singer Nam Woo-hyun, member of K-pop group INFINITE, will be performing live during the pageant set for May 13.
Ticket prices for the event have yet to be announced.
Dozens of candidates are in the running for the coveted crown won last year by Celeste Cortesi.
The grand winner will head to El Salvador later this year for a chance to bring home the Philippines’ fifth Miss Universe title.
