Fuel prices to go up this week

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, March 6) — Motorists will pay more for fuel beginning Tuesday.

In separate advisories, Seaoil and Cleanfuel said the per-liter prices of diesel and gasoline would increase by ₱1.50 and ₱0.40, respectively.

Meanwhile, Seaoil said prices of kerosene would also go up by ₱1.25 per liter.

According to the oil monitoring of the Department of Energy as of Feb. 28, the year-to-date peso-per-liter decline stood at ₱2.40 for diesel and ₱2.30 for kerosene. Gasoline has a net increase of ₱5.30 per liter.
