Shop at a flea market in the grounds of a pre-war mansion

Palacio de Memoria is a restored pre-war mansion located on Roxas Boulevard. The old city charm of the Parañaque mansion’s grounds has made it a favored spot for celebrations and events, but those who want to visit for fun can avail of the Palacio’s in-house tours or dine at its restaurant, The Loggia by Margarita Fores. From March 4 to 5, they’re opening the grounds to the public for a whole day flea market. Interested visitors can register via bit.ly/fleamarket9. — CNN PHILIPPINES LIFE STAFF

Pay a visit to the new Silverlens exhibits

Silverlens is welcoming two new exhibitions this March 2. The first, “As Wild As We Come,” is Filipino artist Wawi Navarroza’s homecoming exhibit that was also shown at this year’s Art Fair Philippines’ ArtFairPH/Projects. The Istanbul-based artist’s self portraits are a “celebration of birth and rebirth,” and represent her new life phases. The second exhibit, by Thai contemporary artist Mit Jai Inn, is a participatory work that invites viewers to take a painted object made from recycled material in exchange for sharing documentation. Called “Ocular Vocabulary,” the exhibit draws from collaborative interaction. For more information, follow the Silverlens Instagram page. — CNN PHILIPPINES LIFE STAFF
