Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, February 14)— A day before her birthday, television host-actress Kris Aquino once again gave her social media followers an update on her health.
In an Instagram post on Monday, Aquino revealed that her latest medical results showed a “scary red flag.”
Despite this, the Queen of All Media said she remains blessed — as she thanked her loved ones and fans for all the support.
“I promised myself after reading my latest results that had one unexpected [and] admittedly scary red flag (not autoimmune related) after iniyak ko na, tama na (after crying about it, I will stop),” Aquino wrote, but did not provide more details.
“If ever that borderline number signals early detection, I am still blessed… in faith I surrender all to God,” she added.
Aquino, who turns 52 on Tuesday, likewise expressed gratitude to all those who offered prayers, calling them the “best gift anybody in my situation could ask for.”
“Sa dami nyong nagdarasal for me, kung umabot na kailangan ng mas aggressive na treatment (at a higher dosage it’s considered chemotherapy) imposibleng hindi tayo pagbibigyan ng ating mahal na ama,” the actress-host stressed.
[Translation: As many of you are praying for me, in case I would need to have a more aggressive treatment and higher dosage, it’s impossible that God will not grant our prayers.]
Aquino is currently in the United States to get medical treatment for her autoimmune diseases. In November last year, she said she would be undergoing several months of diagnosis and treatment.
