Fuel prices seen to decline next week

The forecast said that fuel firms will slash per-liter prices of diesel by ₱2.60 to ₱2.80 and gasoline by ₱1.90 to ₱2.00.

Early this week, companies announced increases on the per-liter price of diesel by ₱1, gasoline by ₱1.30, and kerosene by ₱1.35.

According to the Department of Energy’s oil monitor as of Jan. 31, there have been per-liter increases of ₱7.20 for gasoline, ₱3.05 for diesel, and ₱4.45 for kerosene since the start of 2023.

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, February 4) — Oil companies are expected to implement a rollback on the prices of fuel products starting Tuesday, said Unioil Petroleum Philippines.
