Three new shows open this Jan. 11 at Mono8 Gallery in San Juan. Eunice Sanchez’s “tumtumpao iti nadagsen” (the heavy floats) is an evocation of the artist’s experience of moving from one place to another and histories with bodies of water. Lester Amacio’s “The Sky Can Wait” is inspired by the artist’s life as a migrant worker who lives in small, enclosed spaces abroad. Regina Reyes’ “Chasing the Quiet” is a reflection on time and re-discovery of new paths and selves. — DON JAUCIAN

The shows will run until Feb. 3, 2023. For more details, visit Mono8 gallery on Instagram or their website.
