Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, December 29) – The new chairman of the Games and Amusement Board (GAB), and the latest appointees to the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) were announced by the Office of the Press Secretary (OPS) on Thursday.
Richard Clarin was named as the new chairman of the Games and Amusement Board (GAB), Palace press briefer Daphne Paez said during a Malacañang media briefing.
Clarin is the first GAB chairman of the administration of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. The post was previously held by Abraham “Baham” Mitra.
Meanwhile, eight new appointees to the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Board of Directors were also named.
They are Allan Baquir as a member representing the national government, and Edelberto Mozo and Thomas Fausto Lahom III as members representing the business and investment sectors.
Acting members representing the private sector are Honorario Alyado III, Jose Mari Ponce, Kenneth Rementilla, Amable Tolentino, and Maria Cecilia Bitare.
