Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 21) — A 52-year-old man was killed after being sideswiped by a truck along MacArthur Highway in Brgy. Pio Cruzcosa, Calumpit, Bulacan on Sunday.
The police report said Luisito Corales was riding a mountain bike headed towards Malolos City when he was hit by an Elf truck as he tried to move to the inner lane of the highway.
He was declared dead by the Calumpit Rescue Team and his remains were brought to the St. Eury Funeral Service.
The driver of the Elf truck was identified as Jasper Reateran and is now in police custody.
