Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, October 13) — Although Tropical Depression Maymay has weakened into a low pressure area, classes are still canceled in some areas in Luzon on Thursday.

Classes are suspended in the following areas due to inclement weather:

– Enrile: All levels (public and private schools)

– Sanchez Mira: Preschool to Senior Highschool

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration lifted Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals early Thursday morning, but forecasted moderate to heavy with at times intense rains over Cagayan, Isabela, and Apayao.

Light to moderate with at times heavy rains are still expected over the rest of Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region.

“Maymay” will continue to move westward towards the eastern coast of Isabela or Aurora, and is seen to weaken into a remnant low within the next 12 hours.
