Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, September 8) — A fire that hit a residential area in Barangay Obrero, Quezon City killed three minors on Thursday.
The death toll has risen to three after a child initially reported as missing was added to the two fatalities.
At least 27 houses along Fr. Martinez Street were hit by the blaze, affecting around 80 families, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
The BFP also said the fire started at 11:57 p.m. Wednesday and reached first alarm. It was declared fire out at 3:12 a.m. Thursday.
