Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, August 16) — A helicopter crash in Clark Freeway Port, Pampanga killed its pilot and left two mechanics injured Tuesday morning.
According to the spot report of the Clark Development Corporation-Public Safety Division, the 1973 model helicopter was under technical repair when it elevated and crashed in the Nabcor area during its test flight.
Mabalacat City Mayor Cris Garbo offered his condolences to the pilot’s family and urged the community to pray for the healing of the injured mechanics.
Garbo said he also instructed the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office to look into the incident as the crash site falls within the jurisdiction of Mabalacat City.
