
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 20)— President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has named former Department of Labor and Employment official Danilo Cruz as the new director-general of the Technical Education And Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
This was confirmed by Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles in a statement on Wednesday.
Cruz previously served as the agency’s undersecretary for employment and manpower.
Meanwhile, the press secretary also confirmed the appointment of bowling legend Bong Coo as a commissioner of the Philippine Sports Commission.
The bemedaled sports icon previously served as president of the Philippine Bowling Federation.
