
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, June 9) — Westlife, the popular Irish boy band of the ‘90s, has added a second night to its Manila concert next year after tickets to the original show have immediately sold out.
Following an overwhelming demand, the Westlife will now stage “The Wild Dreams Tour” for two nights at the Araneta Coliseum on Feb. 20 and 21, 2023.
“We’re so thrilled to announce that due to demand we’re added a new date in the Philippines! We’ll see you there!” Westlife posted on its Twitter page.
The band expressed its gratitude to Filipino fans after the first show was sold out in just two days.
Tickets for the second show will go on sale starting June 18 via TicketNet.com.ph and at all TicketNet outlets nationwide.
Westlife, one of the most successful pop groups of all time, is currently composed of Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan and Nicky Byrne.
They will perform songs from their new album, plus their original hits like Flying Without Wings, Bob Bop Baby, My Love, Swear It Again, Uptown Girl, What About Now, and World of Our Own.
