Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, June 7) — Mandaluyong police filed a case on Wednesday against security guards of the subdivision where the owner of the SUV involved in a recent hit-and-run case lives.
Unos said the guards did not cooperate with authorities and even denied them entry during the investigation of those involved in the incident.
Mandaluyong Police Chief PCol. Gauvin Mel Unos said a complaint for obstruction of justice was filed against three subdivision guards.
“May mga ganong activities of police follow up, and that means that is for justice for the victim,” Unos explained during the briefing.

Unos, however, did not give specific details on the subdivision.
A video of the ramming on Sunday went viral on social media, showing a white SUV hitting security guard Christian Floralde while he was directing traffic near a mall.
He was already down on all fours, but the driver proceeded to run him over.
A show-cause order was issued on Monday for the SUV owner to appear at the LTO on Tuesday, but he did not show up.
On the same day, police filed a frustrated murder and abandonment of one’s own victim complaint against the SUV owner.
A second and final show-cause order was issued on Tuesday requiring the person to appear before the LTO on June 10 at 1 p.m.
Another non-appearance would mean the revocation of his driver’s license, which has been placed under a 90-day preventive suspension.
Renante Melitante, officer-in-charge of LTO’s Intelligence and Investigation Division, said the second show-cause order was served and was received by a housemaid.
