The Department of Transportation on Saturday welcomed Grab’s initiative.
“Malaking bagay itong Libreng Sakay mula sa Grab para sa ating mga pasahero upang agaran silang makauwi sa kani-kanilang mga tahanan. Nagpapasalamat tayo sa Grab sa inisyatibong ito na malaking tulong sa ating mga kababayan,” said DOTr Secretary Arthur Tugade in a statement.
[Translation: This free ride from Grab is a big help to passengers who want to immediately go home. We thank Grab for this initiative.]
The free rides will run from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Grab will deploy 100 units for the program.
Passengers who want to avail of the free rides must book at the Grab booths located at the arrival areas of NAIA Terminals 2 and 3, the DOTr said.
