
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, May 31) — The Commission on Appointments has confirmed the ad interim promotion of 17 generals and flag officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
In a statement on Monday, the CA said the appointment was approved by the Committee on National Defense that held a deliberation on the matter.
“The promotions of Generals and Flag Officers in the military signify the bigger and more crucial responsibilities that they have to carry in support of the AFP’s mission of protecting the people and securing the state,” the CA said.
