Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, May 16) — Maynilad Water Services, Inc. has announced off-peak water service interruptions in some parts of Metro Manila and Bulacan from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. daily starting May 16 until June 1.
Citing daytime peak demand for water, Maynilad on Friday said the interruptions will enable them to fill their reservoirs at night to cater to high demand during daytime.
Affected areas include Barangay Catanghalan in Obando, Bulacan and several barangays in the cities of Valenzuela, Paranaque, Pasay, Makati, Navotas, Manila, Quezon, Malabon, and Caloocan.
Maynilad advises affected customers to store enough water when supply is available but adds that its mobile water tankers will be on stand-by to deliver potable water as needed.
