Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 29) – Camarines Norte second district Rep. Marisol Panotes has died at the age of 76, her daughter Rosemarie confirmed in a social media post.
The younger Panotes did not reveal the cause of her mother’s death.
Panotes gunned for her third and last term in the coming elections. She first assumed the post in 2016, a year after her predecessor and husband Elmer died.
Panotes was vice chairperson of the House Committees on Disaster Resilience and Population and Family Relations.
