Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 28) — Makati City’s Michelle Dee took home most of the special awards at the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 preliminaries held in Okada Manila on Wednesday.
Thirty-two ladies exuded elegance and intelligence in interviews and evening gown and swimsuit competitions in front of a live audience.
Dee won six awards, namely Miss Kumuniverse, Miss Creamsilk, Face of Essentials Belo, Miss Jojo Bragais, Miss Savepoint, and Miss The Medical City.
Other candidates who also took home special awards were Bohol’s Pauline Amelinckx who was named the Frontrow Choice Queen and Miss MG Cars, Taguig’s Ma. Katrina Llegado who was named Miss Philippine Airlines and Miss Center for Advanced Dentistry, and Pasay City’s Celeste Cortesi who was named Miss Avana and Miss Aqua Boracay.
The coronation night will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena on April 30.
