In its 8 a.m. situational report, the NDRRMC said that 156 of the reported deaths were from Eastern Visayas, 11 from Western Visayas, three from Davao Region, and two from Central Visayas.
The agency said of the reported casualties, only 12 were so far confirmed. Eleven of the confirmed fatalities were from Western Visayas while one was from Eastern Visayas.
At least 110 people were reported missing. The NDRRMC said 104 were from Eastern Visayas, five from Western Visayas and one from Davao Region. But the agency also said that only six missing individuals were confirmed.
The NDRRMC also reported that eight individuals in Central Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Davao Region, and Soccsksargen were injured due to Agaton.
A total of 583,994 families, or more than two million individuals, have been affected by the storm.
The estimated cost of damage to agriculture climbed to ₱249.8 million and was incurred in Western Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Soccsksargen and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. The cost of damage to infrastructure reached ₱6.95 million, the NDRRMC added.
