Filipina scientist earns Barbour Scholarship in U.S.

Filipina talent has also stretched into the world of science. Peach Arines is the only Pinoy awarded the prestigious Barbour Scholarship at the University of Michigan last year with her mission to discover cures for Alzheimer’s, cancer and more illnesses.
