Lacson to govt.: Rethink decision not to suspend fuel excise tax

The government will retain the fuel excise tax despite rising oil prices. President Rodrigo Duterte also approved his economic team’s recommendation to provide monthly unconditional cash transfers of ₱200 to poor families for a year. At least one presidential candidate is against these measures.
