Duterte okays keeping excise tax, providing ₱200 aid for poor

Despite calls from lawmakers and other officials, President Rodrigo Duterte says the fuel excise tax is here to stay. He also approved his economic team’s recommendation to provide a ₱200 monthly assistance for the poorest households.
