
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, March 11) – Tickets for the much awaited Manila leg of the FIVB Volleyball Nations League (VNL) 2022 men’s and women’s tournaments will be sold to the public beginning April 18, the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) said on Friday.
“We anticipate the return of world-class volleyball action in the country and we’re confident that with pandemic waning, the fans will enjoy the matches,” PNVF president Tats Suzara said.
Tickets will sell for ₱2,000 for courtside seats, ₱1,500 for patron A, ₱1,000 for patron B, ₱500 for lower box, ₱300 for upper box and ₱150 for general admission via www.ticketnet.com.ph.
All matches will happen at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City, with the women’s play on June 14-19 and for male spikers June 21-26.
Three-time VNL champion and Tokyo Olympics gold medalist United States banners the women’s pool that include reigning Asian champion Japan, Southeast Asian queen Thailand, China, Poland, Belgium, and Canada.
Tokyo Olympics gold medalist France leads the men’s side and will be challenged by fan favorite Japan, Slovenia, Argentina, Italy, Germany and The Netherlands.
Russia is entered in both genders but its invasion of Ukraine cost its place in the VNL, with a replacement team expected to be announced in a later date.
