House panel backs fuel excise tax suspension

With the consecutive weeks of fuel price hikes, basic commodities, bus and jeepney fares could be next which could eventually lead to an appeal for a raise in the minimum wage. A committee at the House of Representatives is now looking at ways the government can address the crisis.
