Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, March 6) — Beginning March 7, the public may get their anti-coronavirus shot at the Antipolo station of the Light Rail Transit Line 2 from Mondays to Saturdays.
The Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) on Sunday announced the extended schedule, as it steps up its immunization drive in coordination with the city government of Antipolo.
Previously, the vaccination site at the station was only operational from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m on Wednesdays and Fridays.
The LRTA added that commuters may also get inoculated at its Cubao station from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m every Monday starting March 7.
Meanwhile, its Recto vaccination site remains open every Tuesday and Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
To further promote a safer public transport system, the LRTA also provides a free one-day unlimited pass to those who get their anti-COVID shot at any Line 2 vaccination site.
