
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, February 28) — The Miss Universe Philippines Organization on Monday released the names of the 50 delegates, including experienced beauty queens, who could represent the country in the 71st Miss Universe pageant.
The 50 delegates will be trimmed down to the final 30 candidates for the Miss Universe Philippines 2022.
Some notable names in the line-up include Miss World 2019 top 12 finalist Michelle Dee, Miss Earth 2018 finalist Celeste Cortesi, Miss Universe Philippines 2020 third runner-up Pauline Amelinckx, and 2019 Reina Hispanoamericana 5th runner-up Maria Katrina Llegado.
The winner will succeed Beatrice Luigi Gomez, who finished in the Top 5 at the 70th Miss Universe pageant.
