Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, September 23)— Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo emerged victorious in the 2021 All Japan Senior and Masters Gymnastics Championships on Thursday as he bagged two medals in separate events.
Yulo clinched gold in floor exercise with a score of 15.30. He also grabbed bronze in the vault apparatus competition after tallying 15.00.
The feat comes after Yulo’s stint at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics last month, where he also qualified for the finals of the vault contest.
The gymnast placed fourth in the Olympic event.
