
Tokyo Paralympics: Team Philippines schedule, results, updates
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, September 2) – Filipino swimmer Gary Bejino failed to clinch a finals slot in the Tokyo Paralympics men’s 400-meter freestyle S6 event on Thursday at the Tokyo Aquatics Centre.
Bejino clocked in five minutes and 52.28 seconds, finishing last among 13 swimmers in the preliminary heats.
The Bicolano tanker still has a final chance to snag a Paralympics medal in the 100-meter backstroke S6 event on Friday. He will compete in the preliminary heats at 8:18 a.m. Philippine time.
