Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, September 1) — Several offices at the Pasig City Hall have been closed after some staff members tested positive for COVID-19.
Mayor Vico Sotto made the announcement on social media on Wednesday, adding that one of those affected is the City Administrator’s Office.
“Hinihingi ko po ang inyong pang-unawa. Hindi pa normal ang trabaho sa city hall..tapos ngayon napilayan na naman tayo,” he said.
[Translation: I ask for your understanding. Work at city hall has not yet returned to normal, and now this has affected us again.]
No announcements were made on how the situation would affect other transactions at the city hall.
