Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, August 28) — Metro Manila will remain under modified enhanced community quarantine until Sept. 7, Inter-Agency Task Force spokesman Harry Roque said Saturday.
Roque also announced the community quarantine classifications of other areas on Sept. 1 to 7.
Also under MECQ are Apayao, Ilocos Norte, Bulacan, Bataan, Cavite, Lucena City, Rizal, Laguna, Aklan, Iloilo Province, Iloilo City, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu City, Mandaue City, and Cagayan de Oro City.
“NCR, Bataan, and Laguna shall have added restrictions on dining, personal care services, and religious activities,” Roque said in a statement, but he did not elaborate.
Meanwhile, these areas are under general community quarantine with heightened restrictions:
