Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, August 23) — The whole stretch of Topaz Road in Ortigas Center in Pasig City was closed off after deep cracks appeared on Sunday evening.
The cracks stretched up to 50 meters between a construction site and a condominium. Pasig City’s rescue staff placed barricades on the road and covered it with tarpaulin.
Officials from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, and Barangay San Antonio will meet on Monday to find out the source of the cracks.
