It’s now the turn of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration or OWWA to respond to Commission on Audit’s findings that some of its transactions amounting to ₱1.2 million were doubtful.
These include hygiene kits, sanitary napkins and thermal scanners bought from a construction firm, and bottled water and snacks from a caterer rather than a supermarket.
OWWA says they are now in the process of explaining to COA these transactions.
