
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, August 11)—At least one person was hurt in a fire that broke out along 21st Street in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig Wednesday evening, authorities reported.
Initial reports said the incident took place at a construction site.
Responders were immediately deployed to the site. The Philippine Red Cross said it also sent a first-aid team to help affected individuals.
This is a developing story.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said the victim was a 35-year-old male who suffered third degree burns on his face and body. He was rushed to the St. Luke’s Medical Center for treatment.
The fire from a gas explosion was declared out at 9:35 p.m., two hours after first alarm was raised, according to the BFP.
