84 repatriated Filipinos from UAE found COVID positive

While Secretary Francisco Duque III believes the current border controls are effective in preventing the entry of the more transmissible Delta variant, it is still unclear for now if there are new cases of the variant from Filipinos who recently returned home. 84 of those who joined repatriation flights from the United Arab Emirates were found positive of COVID-19.
