The country expanding its travel ban to cover Indonesia. Malacañang says President Duterte has approved restrictions for all travelers coming from the Southeast Asian nation who will be prohibited from entering the Philippines from July 16th to the 31st. The Palace says this protocol aims to prevent the further spread of COVID-19 variants. Indonesia is battling severe wave of COVID-19 infections driven by the delta variant.
